So… Why me?Here’s the basics: After 8+ years of professional experience producing traditional social content and TV commercials, it’s time for my next chapter. I moved to from Los Angeles to Amsterdam in search of something new and exciting.
Having spent so many years working on other creators’ projects, learning and growing along the way, I am ready to put my money where my mouth is and prove that I can grow a brand with my own stories and images. And even though I’ve freelanced for most of my career, my latest role at Netflix taught me the importance of working toward a shared goal with a close, collaborative team.
Above all, though, I have always had a burning passion for travel. Travel photography has always been a part of who I am, and my Insta feed is non-stop travel content, from which I can pull unlimited inspiration from to kick-start ideas from day 1.
This is me.
(I guess I look a little wired, but when you’re on set for a full day, the coffee hits pretty good…)
In my 7 years working in the commercial / editorial production industry in Los Angeles, I’ve worn many hats. I’ve been a Producer, a Director, a Lighting Assistant, a Live Editor for award winning directors on major brand campaigns…
But what I love the most is being a
Photographer & Videographer
…also, there’s two specific things that I believe make me a great fit for this role:
My Technical ExperienceSince I was a teenager, I have had a camera on me. My knowledge of camera systems (especially the Sony cinema series) makes me confidently qualified to handle fast paced shoots without careless issues that can cause resource problems, like delivery delays, runaway costs or editing frustrations.
I’ve edited, colored, sound-designed and audio-engineered all of my projects since high school, and have vast knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects), Davinci Resolve, Canva, CapCut and various other industry tools, like the Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Figma and Darkroom.
Plus, being part of the media industry has kept me in the loop on all kinds of media trends, and I understand the importance of exporting assets intentionally, at unique specifications for each platform.
My Passion for Human StoriesI think what has really made me excited for this role is the emphasis on telling personal, human stories in Interrail’s social marketing.
Being a Millennial/Gen Z cusp-er, I have been chronically online for what feels like a lifetime. I have seen all of the trends, dating back to the Numa Numa guy and Charlie Bit My Finger.
Anyone who is in the same boat as me knows that these days, being on the internet and social media can be extremely exhausting. Brands are constantly bombarding social channels with more and more derivative, half-baked trends, and audiences are growing tired of AI slop taking over their feeds.
Because of this, authenticity is already a seriously powerful weapon for sincere brands looking to cut through the noise.
It’s clear from Interrail’s social media presence that telling human stories is a #1 priority, and I would be incredibly honored to be able to tell even more of them.
After all, travel is about human connection, first and foremost.
